This is just too high...why not recover the money they need at a slower pace

Absolutely taking advantage of good folk relocating to Australia. Shame these fees are way over the top.

This increase will mean the separation of families & abandonment of pets. I am shocked & disgusted with the proposed new fees. I can't see the justification in this level of increase, it was only about 5 years ago the fees were increased radically anyway - why more now?

Please reconsider this - the shelters and rescues are already overcrowded forcing many to euthanize after a certain period in the US and I feel these fees will increase the number of people who will have to turn in their pets because they cannot afford thousands of dollars between required testing, vet appts, air, ground, permits, USDA charges and then another 1800 for quarantine.

Even though we really love our dog and brought her over with us from Australia 3 years ago I can't see us being able to bring her back with these additional fees On top of the 2200 pounds to pay in the UK)

kindly consider the charges and how will it have an impact for all animal lovers who would like to bring their pets in Australia.

Off the wall charges. Unfair.

I believe these new unfair charges will deter people moving to Australia in the future

Perception is everything and for visitors and ex pats alike this will be a tough pill to swallow. Not a good way to hit the ground running and makes Australian authorities appear overly greedy and opportunistic. Don't do this!

Please don't, it's hard enough for pet owners with all the preparations. Don't discourage them further!

Please don't raise the fees! I have been saving up to bring my dog home and that is so much more than I have budgeted for.

This increase cannot be justified.

Please do not increase the fees. We are bringing our dog to Australia in July and this cost is just adding to an already extremely expensive process. $150 per day seems a rather excessive (an unfair) jump in price.

This increase may result in my family not being able to bring our dog with us due to the cost increase. We see our pet as part of the family unit and this will upset our younger children who will be devastated.
