How sad to hit people and pets who are under the stress of a move to Australia already with something so monumental that they have to rethink their entire situation. Give with one hand and take then take to excess with the other, welcome to Australia!

The proposed fee seems very excessive - we have already booked our place for the start of July and now have no idea if the cost is going to sky rocket or not.

Outrageous. Surely IF such a price hike were unavoidable, it should affect only those who MAKE THEIR BOOKING after a certain date. To charge those who have already paid and confirmed arrangements for transport is ludicrous; contradicting terms and conditions previously agreed upon.

I'd like to know how the Australian Quarantine Service are justifying this outrageous increase. The existing charge is already way beyond expensive and to me unreasonable for the service provided. It does appear that these measures are being made to discourage people bringing their beloved pets into Australia. Shame on you!
