This would be unfair. Travelling back to Aus with our two dogs that we brought with us from Australia to uk for 1 year, travelling with pets is so expensive already without this new measure, this would need a year's notice if really necessary so people are not forced to do this.

no wonder politicians have a bad name. as usual rush in exstorsahanate fees this justs ruins the lives and puts things out of reach of ordinary people

The increase in charges seem design to discourage people from bringing their cats. As we've already booked flights for our cats we have no choice but to pay the exorbitant increases if they come in

I cannot imagine how such a price rise is being 'justified' by DAFF. It feels as though we to be penalised for the loss of revenue which undoubtedly comes on the back of the decision to reduce the amount of time our pets need to remain in Quarantine?

This is blatant profiteering. The service should be looking to restructure to manage the reduction in quarantine times.

This severe rise could mean that loving responsible pet owners would be separated from their dogs. There's got to be a better way to support people who are willing to provide a safe and caring environment for their pets; and for some people that may involve bringing them to Australia.

It is going to cost us well over $7000 to get our dog Charlie from the uk and with there no longer being a quarantine centre at Perth, now this wholly unreasonable fee the price just keeps increasing. It is a crazy amount of money especially as we are trying to set up our new life in Australia.

The new pricing is ridiculous and unfair. What are they doing that is extra for the animals to be able to charge this price? All they are doing is keeping them in a kennel and feeding them.
