unbelievable and highly doubtful the cost is required to actually run the service. For that price, I would expect the animals to at the very least be walked and bedding provided.

This has a major impact on whether we can afford to bring our cat with us which will be devastating

a pet is part of the family and all people should have the chance and the possibility to bring them with the other Members of the family and these new charges are exhorbitant.you should review them otherwise people who can't afford them have no choice than to abandon their pets somewhere with a big pain in their heart.thank you

the new price increase plan will create more stray animals as the people will not be able to bring their pets home due to the price increase. animal welfare should consider while review the price increase.

It's already so tough to bring our pets back in, this will just make things even tougher for some.

We think the financial and emotional impact on the average family with pets has been grossly underestimated by all involved in this decision.

This will prohibit caring pet owners from taking the responsible action of bringing their pets back with them from overseas postings. Shame on DAFF

This seems like a very high charge for the quarantine service, and we would want to see evidence that this reflects the true cost of holding the animals. We have already paid for our dog's stay for end-August and feel that the previous quote should be honored.

This is outrageous! Perhaps you need to be made aware that MILLIONS of companion animals are being killed each year due to not having a home? These pets HAVE responsible owners and you are putting a very unfair burden on them! You should be part of the worldwide effort to help companion animals!

We so badly want to bring our family pet dog to Australia as he is a big part of our family and this makes it even more costly than it already is.

This increase is both unwarranted and unfair. The export/import process is stressful enough for pet owners without now having to figure out how we are supposed to find this additional money! Where is the common sense and compassion?

Terrible terrible prices! Total greed praying on families who simply can not leave a pet behind. Praying on the needs of a family, what a pity
