Completely agree. Consodering the current semester was spent mostly off campus, labs weren't used and therefore lab fees should be waived. In addition, overall learning experience suffered.

I would like to request reconsideration of the semester fees since this semester was conducted fully online. As students, we did not have access to or use most university facilities such as classrooms, labs, campus services, and other resources that are normally included in the fees. It would be appreciated if the university could reduce or adjust some of the fees to reflect the online learning situation.

I can’t afford having an increase in allowance despite having a scholarship.

Should not be increased, we spent a lot of spring 2026 online, saving the university’s budget for on campus. Raising the fees just does not make any sense, as it’s already high for residents and are treated the same as international students.

Many students and families are already struggling with living costs, housing, and transportation. Raising the tuition adds unnecessary stress and could affect students’ ability to continue their education

instead of decreasing it because of spring 2026 sem problems?

The proposed fee increase places an unfair burden on families already struggling with layoffs and rising living costs, making it extremely difficult—if not impossible—for many to afford additional expenses. At a time when financial stability is uncertain for so many, such an increase feels especially unreasonable. Moreover, the entire Spring semester was conducted online, meaning students did not fully access campus facilities or services that these fees typically support. Given these circumstances, proceeding with a fee increase would only intensify financial strain, and we strongly urge that this decision be reconsidered with empathy and fairness.
