The increase is unbearable and uncalled for, where a huge portion of the semester (spring 2026) was held online and rarely anything students went to the university, and when done they were required a pass which was not granted to everyone. Its bad for the people who are barely surviving with scholarships and financial aid.
The price is already high, increasing it more for no change in what the student is receiving is very low.

this is horrendously unfair.. spring semester was online which has saved aus a lot of expenses, how can they think of increasing fees like this. due the situation my parents are able to barely survive with this in this economy as they are self employed business owners this fee increase will slow down my education and force me to take gap semesters or even transfer, its going to hurt my education and my life

At a time where students are already carrying academic, financial, and personal pressure, increasing tuition and additional fees feels deeply unfair. Many students paid for facilities and lab access they were never able to fully use due to online learning. Education should be supported, not made harder to access during instability. I stand with the students calling for the cancellation of these increases and the waiving of unnecessary fees.

The money we paid for Fall 2026 is specifically for face-to-face learning, otherwise we would have went to an online university instead. Since we won’t be getting refunds from that, an increase in prices next semester absolutely isn’t needed.
