Stop ATV's from being criminalized in Massachusett

I would like to make my opposition to House Bill 3592 clear. This bill seeks to ban the use of atvs by children due to safety concerns. However, when compared to other sports, the facts show that atv use is in fact safer than football, soccer, bicycling, snow-boarding, basketball, and skateboarding just to name a few. HB 3592 is a bill based on emotion, that represents the position of one family who was the victim of an unfortunate accident. The Massachusetts DCR (Department of Conservation and Recreation) has recently convened an ORV (off-road vehicle) enforcement committee which is exploring current atv regulations and laws, including safety issues. This committee is comprised of many stakeholders ranging from atv user groups, and land conservation coalitions, to the office of injury prevention, and law enforcement representatives just to name a few. I am vehemently against house bill 3592, and instead, would like you to support the legislation that will be put forth by the ORV enforcement committee in the coming months. Please STOP HB 3592 and instead make the choice which will allow all stakeholders have a voice.
