We, the undersigned, believe that the continuance of the CACC under current Administrative staff housed at the Attucks Theatre has proven to be ineffective in the community, and of adherence that does not welcome ideas and events that show concern and or participation in the lives of the people it serve. At current the administration has been in place for three years with no impact of the community at large. This current administration has circumvented the issues that should be board decisions and continued on their own accord to determine what happens and what should take place at the Attucks theatre where community is concerned.
We request that the CACC Board examine carefully past events and association with Herb Williams and Edutainment Productions Inc. who has been key in elevating the awareness of the CACC and the Attucks Theatre in the local community, to institute rulemaking to clearly define the scope and proper organization of the artistic portion of CACC, and all artistic areas thereof.
We believe the decision to be most effective through knowledge and should be taken into account since the practical impact of this decision will have an adverse effect on the local community and the economy at a time when the government is spending billions to stimulate the economy. Therefore, we, the undersigned, hereby petition the CACC to change and reappoint new Administrative staff , adhering to the request of the undersigned to allow for change and opportunity for growth with the historic Attucks Theatre and the CACC in new areas that will allow for consistency in regulation, event participation, and community involvement.
The CACC administration cannot ignore this surge of public pressure any longer. They have spent years stalling and ignoring the community but now they have no choice but to face the reality of our demands for change.

Time for a change. Three years is long enough to see the current team just isnt cutting it.

The Attucks needs someone who actually talks to us. Tired of the same old gatekeeping while the place sits empty.

FIX IT. This place used to be the heartbeat of the community and now it just feels like a ghost town.

Herb did so much for the arts in this city. Why are they pushing out the people who actually bring crowds in?

Bring back Edutainment. They know how to run events that people actually want to attend.
