The courts finally granted the appeal hearing we fought for all these years. Seeing this come to pass brings me such relief after the long nightmare my family has endured. We still have a difficult road ahead but at least the truth has a path forward.

The momentum behind this request for justice for Atif and Sebastian has grown into something I never imagined possible. Seeing this level of belief in their right to a fair appeal gives me renewed hope that the truth will finally be examined.

We are gaining momentum but we need to push past the hundred mark to show that people still care about this injustice. My heart aches for them and I need your help to keep this momentum moving forward today.

They didn’t do the crime. The police was lazy from the start. They didn’t look else where for who might have actually committed the murder. They were practically bullied into saying they committed the crime. The justice system definitely ruined these poor boys lives.

What about the investigation of the warning a Pakistanian family was going to be murdered? And everybody reacts differently to some event they can’t really process. I’ve seen my good friend laughed a lot about seeing his family member being murdered jn front of his eyes. It is just a coping meganism your brain can do.

marginalized evidence, poorly represented, wrongly accused. The justice system is so messed up… as an impressionable teenager, would I admit to a crime I had not committed under extreme circumstances (in front of a gangster that would consider my innocence statement as a lie and threat against him)? Probably I would.

Just the fact that the technique used to coerce them out of a confession is illegal in the United States should have the entire case thrown out. This is what happens when the justice system cares more about supporting the prosecution than actually prosecuting the right guy. I am convinced of their innocence.

Utterly disgusted at the way this case was handled and the tactics used to obtain a FALSE confession! Don't understand how the physical evidence was not examined properly! And the judge, jury and prosecutors should be ashamed and I hope they can never rest easy with their decision

The confession tapes were unethical, unprofessional, and did not corroborate with the hardcore evidence which was ignored. This was an injust trial in the system failed both Sebastian and Atif.

How can anyone not see these young men were scared into saying the were guilty. You look into their faces and eyes you see the pain they have for being convicted of a crime they didn't do. That pain is not because they have to spend life in prison. I know because I still have anger and pain for lieing and saying I did something I didn't do because three years sounded better than eight years. I look`ed at the situation and I told the cop what happened I didn't even know what they were talking about how could I have a warrant for something I didn't do. I looked at it and they scared me so I took the plea deal. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of how much I hate and am hurt by how the cops scare you and what looks like something isn't always how it happened . I have that same pain and anger because I said I did something I didn't do because I was scared. I am still upset every time I think of it and how can I prove I'm not guilty, I'm still looking for ways. These two men are not guilty. something has to be done
