Athens ISD Board of Trustees - Reconsider and Vote Down the $4,000,000 Press Box

I was a crusader for the school bond. I saw the conditions of our schools as the need for expansion at the High School. I understood the need to improve the Bruce field facilities. But the price for this press box is outrageous. ... something is not right about this high bid. What's going on?? 6

I too believe the monies could be put to better use.

I feel for that kind of money it could go for something more academic. The football field is not used the whole year and not just by the AISD. TVCC uses it as well so get them to fund the press box. Let's think about our young people first not just sports
