Jim and Polly Shumate are grieving the loss of their only child, Tyler Shumate. As part of their grieving process, they were finding logging into his Facebook Page and reading and updating pictures and sometimes posting very cathartic. Unfortunately a couple of his young adult friends did not like them doing that and decided to take it upon themselves to have Tyler's Page memorialized, thus blocking them from accessing it any further. We think that since the option to name a Legacy Contact only came out days after Tyler's death, that Jim Shumate should be retroactively added back to Tyler's Page as the Legacy Contact.
