My husband, Justin Hicks, died in October 2016. A family member jumped the gun and memorialized his page without adding a legacy contact to manage the page.
My Facebook account got hacked in July 2017 and I had to make a new profile. Now, there is no way to add me as a friend to my own HUSBAND’S Facebook page which means I can’t even see it. I can’t see the things our friends and family are posting and I can’t see the years of pictures of our family and since I was forced to make a new account, I can’t even look at the photos on my own page because I had to start from scratch.
Please help me get somewhat closer to being able to see my own husbands profile.

Please allow her to see her memories with her husband and family..this is wrong on every level. Not to mention heartbreaking.
This is absurd! I would be floored if this happened to my deseased husbands page too! Facebook needs to get it together!

I'm so sorry Amelia Hicks! This is very sad. I too lost my husband last year and go to his page every now and then. I didn't know this could happen! I'm a friend of your mom's from her CA days. Good luck best wishes to you!
I know this person as a fellow widow - and it would be crushing to not have access to my the mother of my children's page.

If a wife is grieving and needs her memories of her deceased husband and father of her child to heal . Than this shouldn’t even have to be an issue .
