This movie is racist. Reasons stated above and more. It’s time for change. This racism in casting should no longer continue

Please retain the books' integrity and already diversified characters. Thank you.

Everyone, take some time to read my offers/suggestions: 1. Share this to as many people on the internet as you can. YouTube is a big target for that and for anyone that hates the casting, make sure they are able to sign it because we need to make it to 500 signatures. Better yet, let's do more than 500! 2. Let someone like Peter Jackson or any director that's an award-winner or one that can be faithful to sourcec material or someone that is capable of making movies that can reach higher ratings than 80% on Rotten Tomatoes audience scores. 3. Going back to #1, make sure this topic goes REALLY viral and make sure the trailer gets as many dislikes/reports as possible. 4. At least in a few years, I can remake it with the studio to make an adaptation more faithful to the book. Maybe Jason Statham can do Butler.

I agree.

Maybe I could do my own take to make an adaptation more faithful to the book and I know Disney is better than this.

You could share this to others on the internet.

As a grown woman who read the books as a child I identified with Artemis, now when I go back to them I find Holly is the TRUE hero of this story. Women can be shown as noble heroes with university degrees, our own apartments, buzzcuts, and police jobs. This is stealing roles from women (who have to make our rent on our own) who have mixed features like nut colored skin from being able to participate in the one true adult female hero in this series and it’s both hand down sexist, racist, and disrespectful.

Just do it right or don't do it at all. There are lines one should not cross.

I'm still upset that they cast a woman to play Root.

Massively upset. Clear virtue signalling that just comes across as pandering at best and reverse racism at worst - denying an already underrepresented group of (eurasian) actors and actresses roles specifically written for them and then replacing strong black female lead roles with white little girls. Also, replacing two strong, tough, funny and well-developed male characters with a woman and a guy who plays every role camp as hell? Disney - your misandry is showing again.
