Pit Bull owners are forcing their Pit Bulls to wear collars made out of heavy metal chains in order to make their neck and shoulder muscles stronger. If the dog is not used for fighting I see no purpose in building a dog's muscles. Regardless it is a myth. This will only make a dog miserable. Not only are the chains heavy they are very tight around the neck and sometimes wrapped around the dog's neck multiple times. Any dog owner that forces their dog to wear these chains should be at the minimal fined for the first offense and have the dog removed and charged with animal abuse for the second offense.
