Exactly this! - "Come on Argyll and Bute council, give us a skatepark that we can be proud of just like Largs, Glenluce, Newport, Carnoustie, Arbroath, Milngavie, Kirkintilloch, Saltcoats...... I could go on and on!!" Also a great way to provide a place for children and young people and even adults to take part in fun, fulfilling and health benefitting activity. With the added bonus of promoting social cohesion in a town like Helensburgh.

Youth facilities are paramount.

If you take away the skatepark we will be forced to skate in the square or other areas which is not ideal for us or members of the community.

The kids are asking for somewhere to go would be silly to refuse .

It would be awesome.

Need a concrete skatepark x

The skate park has been well used since it has been built and the children haven't been causing any problems with anti social behaviour etc. It seems to be used by all ages from 5-15 years and they are careful around the younger ones. Now it is time to build a permanent and decent skate park.

I love riding my scooter at the skatepark. I just wish it was better. I would love to ride a new concrete skatepark in Helensburgh with my friends.
