I really think it's incredible that we have so few facilities for the young people of Helensburgh - this should be a priority of the new site, not an afterthought or worse, just forgotten about completely.

Kids need a place too..

My kids love the skate park, a new one would be a well used area helping keeping kids fit and off the streets

there is virtually nothing for kids in the development plan,not even steps into the kids pool

The current plans are a complete waste of time. There is little or nothing for school age kids in the town. Build a decent pool with slides and play areas, build a really great skate park and leave the rest as the parking that the town so desperately needs. No more retail spoiling the front, the kids need somewhere to go. A brilliant skate park would do far more for the town than yet more retail.

My son regularly used the current skatepark when he was younger. It would be a real pity for future generations not to have the same opportunity as he enjoyed. If Helensburgh is to be successfully redeveloped, provision for the upcoming generation is essential.

This is an important facility for local kids - please make provision for it in the new plans.

The kids of Helensburgh need somewhere decent to play. There are no decent facilities in Helensburgh. Most other towns have facilities for kids, but not us! I strongly believe it’s to do with ABC, as anywhere outside of that has fantastic facilities for kids of all ages!! Bring it into the plans and rebuild and do it properly!!! Forget the retail! The town doesn’t need it! There’s plenty of shops lying empty in the town as it is! Plus we don’t want to block up the main area of the front of the town with retail! Include something for families too, like crazy golf!!! We get so many visitors to the town but there’s not really a lot to offer, is there?
