Absolute no brainer. An outdoor pursuit encouraging kids to partake in physical activity must be encouraged! Especially such a popular activity, no marketing is required for this so no additional costs.

Helensburgh needs this. Our children need somewhere safe to play.

To loose such a facility when the focus is to encourage young people to engage in the outdoors and an active lifestyle would be a major oversight by council members and a poor reflection of Concil priorities in their bid to develop the Helensburgh area as an attractive place to live, especially for young families.

What a great thing for the teenagers and kids in this community - getting them active and off their PS4 and Xboxes!

The town really could do with this easy way to entertain teenagers, the new Hermitage Park is going to be such an asset and a skate park would help address the needs of next age group

The kids worked really hard to raise money to repair the skatepark, don’t now take it away from them.

Helensburgh needs something else to keep the kids entertained and active. Would of been lovely to see something spectacular come of the pool but since this hasnt happened money on this would be money well spent.

The current skatepark needs a better replacement, not to be lost! It is essential to give young people proper facilities in the town.

We desperately wanted one 25 years ago, I think those days they thought skating was maybe just a 'fad'!!!!

So badly needed in townfor our youngsters!
