Reaching one hundred signatures feels like a heavy weight lifted off my shoulders after losing all that footage. It has been an exhausting road to get here but seeing this response proves that the history I was building still matters to others.

A web accessible Sumo bout archive is an effective instrument for promoting the sport in Japan and worldwide. It does not cannibalize the business in any way. Those who see Sumo online or on TV, will still wish to see it live at the arena.
This is the only way to see Sumo with English language commentary. Arabira has created thousands of new Sumo fans all over the world by offering this valuable service. Many now subscribe to tournament feeds, or attend tournaments, who did not follow the sport before. Please help Arabira promote Sumo globally.
By pulling Araibira's channel NSK has ruined a comprehensive history of future Sanyaku wrestlers early careers. In 10 years it would be great to see these fledgling bouts by the 75th and future Yokozuna. NSK should be embarrassed by their attempts to conceal some of the finest that Japan had to offer. .
We can't get live sumo coverage in the United Kingdom any other way. If they want to make traditional Japanese Sumo more popular worldwide, they should make it more available. As it is, everybody depends on people like Araibira and Jason who promote sumo through their own efforts for our pleasure.
Thank you for considering the petition re-establish Araibira's Youtube channel. I owe much to Araibira and his time/effort in promoting sumo and making it accessibly to me here in Idaho, USA. I humbly request that Nihon Sumo Kyokai also consider archiving sumo bouts on Youtube. Thank you.

Please restore Araibira's original Youtube channel. Not only has he painstakingly uploaded all hon-basho bouts for us humble gaijin to enjoy, but he has also uploaded countless interesting documentaries about the history of sumo
