Given her extensive experience and proven dedication to our school over many years, this decision appears both puzzling and potentially detrimental to our school's future. Mrs Collier has demonstrated consistent leadership capabilities and represents a stable, known quantity for our school community during this transitional period.
We must also express our concerns about the message this decision sends to our existing and prospective teaching staff. The apparent inability for a long-serving, capable professional to progress within our school could severely impact our ability to attract and retain talented educators. This creates a troubling precedent suggesting limited opportunities for career advancement within our institution.
It is important to note that this statement reflects the overwhelming support for Mrs Collier among our parent community. The significant number of signatures attached to this letter demonstrates the strong collective desire to see her appointed as our permanent head teacher, a sentiment that we believe warrants serious consideration.
We therefore call upon the School Board to take the following immediate actions:

2. Reconsider Mrs Collier's candidacy for the permanent head teacher position
