I have been a respiratory care practitioner for over 5 years and Dr. Traci Marin was the first driving force behind my approach to critical patient care , teaching me not only to perform tasks simply ordered by a doctor but to analyze the whole patient , molding me into a clinician . This type of teaching ideology and culture is what is at stake with her absence.

Dr. Traci Marin is new to me as a professor and I respect her teachings. I can see her dedication and compassion for the program of respiratory therapy. I would like to continue to learn from Traci through the rest of my program. Thank you for your time and consideration Cindy Blanco.

Traci really made a difference to the VVC respiratory care program. I work at Redlands community hospital for many years and we have so many respiratory students from many schools but VVC students are the best compare to other schools.

Traci is a great director that is honest and keen about her students and the program. She created a successful program that is well known and praiseworthy. I've known traci for 20 years and she has a big heart that looks out for the best interest of her students and faculty. She supports everyone from the depths of her heart. To see her go would be a travesty and a disservice to the program and profession. Please keep her on board forever. She will never be replaced.

As a current student in the respiratory therapy program I can attest to the level of compassion and commitment Traci has for her students it is crucial for a leader to not only show skills in leading the way forward but also guiding others towards it. With this written I hope the administration reconsiders this change in leadership and does the right thing.

I am signing this petition for my support of reassigning Dr. Traci Marin as program director here at Victor Valley College Respiratory Therapy Program. The poor and unfortunate administrative decisions that were made that resulted in the resignation of Dr. Marin are that of stupidity upon the administration. This program cannot and will not survive without Dr. Marin, and there must be a resolution among administrators and Dr. Marin to maintain the respect, value, integrity, and dignity of the respiratory therapy program here at the college. It is worth noting that not only the program will collapse, but as well for future students and current students. The actions and behaviors brought forth by administration, is one in poor taste. I am signing this petition for the reassigning of Dr. Traci Marin to remain as program director here at Victor Valley College Respiratory Therapy Program. Thank you

As a first year RT student who has been learning under Dr. Traci Marin’s guidance in the weeks prior to her resignation, I can already attest to vitality of her teaching methods to this program’s success. She has pushed us to be greater, hold ourselves to higher standards, and is the very reason why VVC produces such respected RRTs. I can almost guarantee the program’s reputation and quality of future graduates will flounder without her guidance. Please reconsider whatever decisions provoked her resignation carefully, as the entire essence of the VVC RT program is at stake.

Traci Marin is the best director for this program. Her dedication to her students and knowledge is a valuable asset. She is a big part and reason why the majority of her students graduate and are recognized when they go to apply for jobs post graduation .Her success is a valuable asset and her drive and determination has helped students who have graduated from her program be successful in their careers. I had the honor of graduating 2024 and her encouragement and willingness to go above and beyond for me really helped me push through those tough times.

Dr. Marin is a great program director, instructor, caring and compassionate person. I would personally like to thank Dr. Marin and her instructors for the guidance and mentorship they gave me in the classroom and in the clinical setting. Please reconsider her resignation as this would be disadvantageous to future classes.

I mentor many students from various colleges that come through my hospital, but VVC RT students are second to no other institution in respects to the caliber of qualified and motivated students cultivated as a result of the expected excellence by Traci. As a graduate of the VVC RT program, I can personally attest that this distinction stems directly from her ability to instill an expectation of excellence and supremacy in all her students. She is a treasure and efforts to keep her leadership and brilliance should be made at all cost

As a current clinical instructor and a former VVC grad I can attest that Traci is very valuable to the respiratory program at VVC. She has shaped many clinicians that take care of our community, our family and teach the future of healthcare. Please take her concerns with deep thought and let’s get this resolved so we can start these students in fall!
