Ashford Conservatives are demanding that Spelthorne Council tackles the antisocial behaviour connected to Imtech House.

This former office block in Woodthorpe Road is being used as temporary housing for London Borough of Hounslow tenants. Local businesses have had to clear up human waste and used nappies; our council regularly removes excessive litter from outside; and residents have reported abuse from some tenants who seem to have little respect for the people around them.

Surrey Police and Surrey County Council attend incidents at Imtech House at a cost to Ashford taxpayers and with NO contribution from Hounslow.

We think it is time Spelthorne Borough Council (which is run by the Independents and backed up by Labour, Greens and Liberal Democrats) pull their fingers out and press Hounslow Council to end their contract with the landlord and allow local families to live here.

Or Hounslow Council must cover the extra costs of policing, tidying, and managing tenant relationships. If you agree please sign our petition.

Disgusting that we are housing residents from hounslow when I've been on the council register 10 years but because I don't have a child I'm on a never ending cycle of I don't matter enough. We need the housing in spelthorne.

Witnessed one resident stealing from and threatening he had a knife to the staff in the Tescos express, and laughied all the way back to this place as I followed him to see where he’d go.

We live close by and the police and/or ambulance service are always in attendance. If you walk past it there is a constant smell of drugs. Why are spelthorne housing people from Hounslow, plenty of local people need accommodation

Abhorrent anti social behaviour by residents of Imtech House. Not properly managed by the housing officers of Hounslow Manager, Ms Hibo Mohammed. Also, the Cromwood property Management that oversees management at Imtech House are oblivious and turn a blind eye to the issues there.

Please get this resolved! There is always dog poo either in front of our gate, or in front of their entrance or bus stop. There is always noise and people shouting and rubbish all over.
