Hi there, my name is Eddie Frith.
I am a student at Godalming College and I want to give a talk about feminism and how toxic it has become at my college. All this means is having a reasonably sized room that has a projector, for my presentation slides.
However the powers that be deny me my platform to speak about this (I think we all know why) so I thought a petition to present to the College faculty, with enough signatures and show that there is demand to speak about this.

no ideology is beyond examination and criticism, no idealology is 'self-evidently right'. Feminism has many deep and damaging problems, but its only way of dealing with them appears to be silencing those pointing them out.
As a female supporter of free speech, this irks me. Let him have his say. What right do the university have in playing the thought police? Feminism, like any belief, should be examined.
If you believe that feminism is truly the path to equality, then you should have faith in any criticism. Is feminism impervious to criticism? Has it become a religion, or is there a fear that it will be exposed as a supremacy movement? If there is faith in the ideology, then it should withstand any debate.
We need to hear both sides, otherwise you are intellectual cowards and have no business in education.
If feminists are afraid of being critiqued they must know that their validity is dubious. If they were confident they were right then dissent should hold no terrors for them. College is the place where you should be encouraged to have your ideas challenged - censorship is not appropriate in a college environment.

Open discussion about such a wide-spread and influential ideology should NOT be stifled in a society that claims to be based on democracy and free speech. Shame on Godalming College for their censorship.
