The local council has officially approved the expansion of high-speed internet providers to our area. This success belongs to the 104 people who backed this initiative. We will monitor the infrastructure rollout to ensure the promised service arrives as intended.
We are wanting to bring another internet provider besides Fidelity to the smaller communities to allow us to have an option at cheaper but faster internet.
The feedback regarding current service limitations confirms that many residents share the same frustrations about connectivity. I have begun reaching out to alternative providers to determine the feasibility of expanding their networks into our area.

Would be awesome to get another provider such as centurylink here in owensville. I used to pay 45 dollars for double the internet speed. Also land lines are like 5-10 dollars with free long distance calling and caller Id. Fidelity charges you to have caller id. They have monopolized the area for way to long.

Fidelity is the worst interent I have ever had the misfortune to be associated with. Slow, don’t get the speed I pay for, and cuts out at random times. Charter or att dsl I would love to have the option to own.

Fidelity has had a monopoly on this area for too long. This area needs another option for the people. Only reason they provide low grade internet for high prices is because they can. If someone else like CentryLink comes to the area it would be interesting to see how fast Fidelity changes. Please allow another provider in the are and let people decide which ISP they want to pay for. Thank you.

True high speed internet is needed. Not this 90's era DSL with terrible service that is overpriced.

We were even paying for faster speed. Never could tell the difference.
