My name is Ankush Kecht and I am a junior biology and international studies major. I believe I would be a good senator for the junior class for a few reasons, one of which is that I have already previously served on the Student Senate executive board as Sustainability Commissioner. In this position, I was able to put on many different initiatives, including the Mask Tye-Dye event in addition to gaining IWU a BEE Campus USA certification. I am also involved on campus as a TA and RA, as well as serving on the executive board of the Students of Color in STEM. These positions give me a unique perspective that incorporates in many different corners of campus, which will also help me better respresent our student body as whole
