Reaching this level of support has been a long and exhausting climb but I finally feel like we are breaking through the indifference. It is hard to keep going when the progress feels slow but seeing this wave of momentum reminds me why we started this fight in the first place.

These people are sick. They deserve the same treatment they give those poor animals. Lock them up for good.
My heart breaks every time I see this stuff on the news. Makes me so angry. Please change the law.
Needs way harsher sentences. Anyone who could do that to a dog or cat has no place in society.
100 percent agree. The laws now are just a joke. Needs to be way tougher
IF YOU HURT AN ANIMAL YOU ARE EVIL. PERIOD. Stop letting them walk away with just a slap on the wrist!!!

The penalty for cruelty to any animal is a fine of $10,000 or more. Imprisonment, psychiatric detention, and forced labor to pay the fines.
