Have you ever walked by an animal shelter and seen all of the cute dogs? Have you ever wondered where they all have gone after weeks? You probably just assume they all get adopted, but thats not always the case. Some animal shelters put dogs to sleep if they aren't adopted in a certain amount of days or weeks. Dogs don't deserve this and they need a voice. Dogs have rights just like people do. They don't deserve to die just because they haven't been adopted in a certain amount of time. I want to let the Branch County Animal Control in Michigan know that its not right to kill dogs just because they can't find a family. My community should help these dogs because they don't deserve this. They just want a home and to live a happy life. Some people may choose not to help these animals because they may think that the kill-shelters are just doing this so they can find more dogs, and I understand that. My reason for this is to help all of the dogs out there. I'm a huge dog lover and would do anything to help these poor dogs! Did you know that there are over 15 kill shelters in Michigan? I feel that I made a very meaningful impact. These dogs didn't have a voice so I believe I've helped them so much!
