The undersigned parties agree that is it a voluntary decision to participate and that the views and opinions expressed in this message are in accordance with their own. The signatories are enrolled in the first year of the Game Programming program at Humber College’s School of Media Studies and Information Technology, blocks A and B. This petition is in regards to the instructor of Operating Systems 1 (GAME 102), Andre Martelli.

We, the undersigned, strongly recommend that Mr. Martelli, whom is currently teaching Operating Systems I (GAME 102) to instruct first-year Game Programming courses at Humber College, including the Winter 2015 semester. We believe that he possesses great teaching aptitude and sufficient knowledge and skill to effectively instruct first year courses with great success. Mr. Martelli will contribute to the overall success of the Game Programming program, as well as to maintain its positive reputation.

Our hope in this petition is to air our grievances and to open the lines of communication between the students, faculty, and administration of the School of Media Studies and Information Technology at Humber College.

Please note, Mr. Martelli has not encouraged, influenced, or provoked such an action from students. This action has been taken on the students’ own accord, based solely on the merits of Mr. Martelli as an instructor.
