Andre Martelli's class was both challenging and fair. I felt his assignments were a fair reflection and expectation in regards to what we learned in class. I enjoyed the challenge of his course and his assignments. As the semester is now over, I can fairly evaluate the course as being a teriffic learning experience. I feel that I gain so much knowledge and confidence in this class. It would be extremely beneficial, not only to me but for all students, to have this type of learning experience on a more frequent basis. Please accept my signature on this petition to support Andre Martelli's teaching method, as well as support the decision of Humber College to provide him with more teaching opportunities in the future.

I completely agree with your statement. I used to dread coming to the Unix class only because I was not understanding the scripting. However after completing Andre's assignments and Final Project I have grown to understand and even love coding in Unix.

This teacher is honestly one of the best teachers I have had all semester. All of his assignments are fair and related to what we learned in class and his exams were also fair, relevant nothing was a surprise on them (in my opinion). At first, I was nervous to learn Unix and how to script, but Andre made me excited about it. I know that if I had the opportunity to have Andre again as a teacher, he would make me as excited and motivated to learn whatever he is teaching.

Andre is one of the best teachers I've ever had and one of the best teacher from our first semester of classes! He made the class enjoyable and entertaining. He knew what he was doing and taught at the pace of the student's knowledge. I would rather have him teach Game Programming 3 than any other teacher, PERIOD!

Andre is a fantastic teacher! He is very knowledgeable in the material he is teaching. He is ultimately organized when it comes to the curriculum, which is beneficial to our learning and experience. He explains the content well and is always around and open to answer any questions no matter how big or small. His feedback on marked assignments, tests and exams are thoroughly explained which is beneficial for me to learn where my mistakes are, and how to fix them. I would highly recommend Andre Martelli for Game Programming. People that complain about this teacher are people who do not come to or pay attention in class and are surprised about the mark they get. Do not listen to them ! Andre is a fantastic teacher and we feel like it would be a privilege to learn from such a fantastic teacher!

Andre Martelli carries himself in a professional manor, treats his students with courtesy and motivates us to learn. I HIGHLY recommend Andre Martelli to be a replacement, if possible. As the course he has taught this semester was through and also a pleasure to be in.

Andre Martelli not only helped make the Operating Systems course extremely educational but also a joy to learn. He was a great professor and I can confidently say that with him teaching Game Programming I would obtain the necessary knowledge to be successful in my program.

Andre Martelli has been and continues to be an amazing Operating Systems professor. His course outline clearly displays the level of effort he expects from his students and his take home lessons teach us a great deal on how to use commands properly and efficiently. Andre’s lesson plan is clearly laid out and there are always easy ways to get in touch with him if need be. Having Andre Martelli as a Game Programming professor would not only motivate me to learn and pursue higher grades, but would allow me to retain the information required to graduate from the Game Programming program at Humber College.

I have to say, I hate(d) Unix and Unix scripting. But somehow this man has managed to end his course with me wanting to do more on my own with it. He teaches well, covering topics clearly, giving out assignments that cover and expand on those lessons, and has very fair tests(with the tests covering only things we've learned in his classes in a clearly supported manner). Overall, I would jump on any class next semester if he taught it, because I know I would come out knowing how to code that language well.
