We, the residents, citizens, and qualified voters of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, by our signatures below, demonstrate our support for the expansion of mass transit options in our region beginning with the project commonly known as “The Amp," a 7.1-mile Bus Rapid Transit project that will run from the Saint Thomas West Hospital area on West End Avenue to Five Points in East Nashville.
We hereby request that Mayor Karl Dean, Metro Council members, Governor Bill Haslam, the Tennessee General Assembly, the Federal Transit Administration, U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander, U.S. Senator Bob Corker, U.S. Representative Jim Cooper, and all other members of the Tennessee congressional delegation support the initial Amp route and appropriate funding mechanisms to complete the initial Amp route.

YES PLEASE. tired of paying for parking and sitting on hwy 40 every single day.
It will help out so many people who live in east nashville and work in town. lets get it done.
Traffic on West End is a total nightmare. Something has to give. Get the buses moving!
Nashville is growing way too fast for just cars. We need better options for getting around without sitting in gridlock for an hour.
Finally some progress for Nashville transit. Im so sick of only having one option to get to work.
