Hey everyone! For those of you who don't know me, my name is Amir Gareiw and I am planning to run as class treasurer for the 2020-2021 term. I believe our class deserves the best representation and I really hope you guys can count on me to act on your interests accordingly!

Student government has always been a special part of my life. My undergraduate experiences at McMaster University includes holding the executive position of Vice President Finance for McMaster Political Science Student Association and McMaster Mock Trials. My specific responsibilities includes maintaining the club budget for the executive team, managing reimbursements for club expenses and direct payment of invoices.

I have also held the position as head of chair committee at McMaster Model UN, which was a significant achievement for me as it challenged my skills in critical thinking and helped refine my problem solving skills through creative conflict resolution.

I believe I can bring these experience with me if I am voted for class treasurer. I ask for you to sign my petition to at least give me a chance to voice my platform in the upcoming week.
