Hello everyone, my name is Hesham Moez, and I am fellow 1L in section 1 at Detroit Mercy Law. I am happy to announce that I will be running for the position of treasurer for our 1L class.

I have a strong passion for budgeting and fund allocation, making the role of treasurer a perfect fit for me. I graduated at the top of my finance class in 2024 from Wayne State University, where I developed skills in using Excel. During my internship at Mass Mutual, I gained hands-on experience in financial planning, which further fueled my interest in this kind of work. I am excited to bring that expertise to help our 1L class at Detroit Mercy Law become financially responsible and prosperous. As treasurer, I will dedicate the time and effort needed to ensure that every student, club, and organization receives the financial support they need to thrive. I look forward to working with our wonderful community to meet our collective goals.

P.S. If our class has a surplus by the end of the year, I will host an honorary money spread ceremony with the extra funds.
