ive been reading through your messages about where a spot might actually work and it is honestly giving me some great ideas for the proposal. its really cool seeing everyone come together to figure out the right location so we can finally make this happen for our dogs.

just saw how much this has grown and im honestly floored by the energy behind this. seeing everyone talk about why we need this is the motivation i needed to keep pushing forward with the town council.

I am in favour of this as long as people pick up after their dogs and aggressive dogs are not allowed.
Maybe we could grab a bit of the schoolyard from St. Bernard’s now that it’s being repurposed for the community.
Our dog Rosie is a very social nine-year-old schnauzer mix. She loves to run and play and we have always lived in cities with dog parks, where she gets a lot of exercise and stays very young and fit. I truly believe dogs are pack animals and love to be with other dogs.
A dog park is a great idea to allow residents to get to know each other and strengthen our community. It is also a desirable feature to attract future home buyers and visitors.
A dog park would be an inexpensive way to show the community that they are thought of, and catered to. This could be an easy step into attracting more positive attention to the town Amherstburg. This town is already gaining momentum, give it another push!
We are new to Amherstburg and are in full support for a dog park. It's great for both dogs and people socializing....like a meet and greet!

We definitely need a dog park in amherstburg.. there is no where to have your dogs off leash and socialize . It’s a shame you have to drive all the way to Tecumseh for a decent dog park.
