At Amesbury High School if you are late about five [5] times you get an office detention, and if your child is late X times after that? A Saturday school is given for EACH new tardy, this rule is nuts when a kid might be only five minutes late to school. This rule should be changed to something less harsh, if a student is late the punishment should be up to the teacher he/she is missing time from. A Saturday school is four [4] hours long, for only being a few minutes late.
