Help stop a housing development next to a SSSI meadow in Hereford

I object to the building of these homes as the traffic situation, with no by-pass for Hereford, is often at a standstill now and more traffic will only increase the problem. There is also the problem of creating more flooding which we can do without in Hereford.

I am against the building of more homes which will create more flooding around Hereford

I have always lived near the Lugg meadows and regularly walk on them. Building so close to them will not spare the wildlife or ecosystem, as having such an increase in human activity will increase noise, pollution and trampling of the Fritillaries, and the loss of such a beautiful peaceful place would be a huge loss to Herefordshire

There are enough brown field sites within the city that could be used to build these homes on rather than ruining forever an area of natural beauty.

I strongly oppose this development which could alter the water course, ultimately affecting wild life, fauna and flora in this meadow.

Site is largest of few Lammas meadows left & a SSSI. Development would significantly increase traffic congestion in what is already a problem area.

This would seriously damage the SSSI and Hereford will have more houses at the cost of less charm and character.

Crazy idea.I am very pleased Hereford have rejected it.

The traffic is already horrendous adding 135 homes is just going to make things even worse. I'v lived in Tupsley all my life & certainly don't want our beautiful meadows ruined by this development.

W e have enough housing on this side of the City. The Lugg Meadows also act to reduce flooding around here - if the water is restricted in this area, it will rise in anothervarea, probably causing greater flood distress.

What a tragedy this would be.

This is a unique and special reserve, not just for Herefordshire but for our nation. There are plenty of alternative sites to develop within Hereford city including areas along disused railway lines and imaginative infill.
