I strongly disapprove, for reasons already stated, plus the impact of more people and dogs using the area for recreation would greatly disturb the wildlife and flora.

This development comes far too close to the unique environment which makes up the Lugg Meadows and must be preserved for future generations. A Lammas meadow is very rare and currently provides an attractive approach to Hereford which would be dramatically altered by this development..

Please do not despoil this precious piece of Herefordshire's landscape. We are only the stewards during our lifetimes; don't turn from this resposibility on your watch. There are creative, longer-term alternatives to our housing needs but you will never replace this historic remnant of Lammas meadow.s

Hereford's historical treasure, the Mappa Mundi, is protected and valued. Hereford's natural treasure deserves protection too. This special nature site cannot be protected by brick walls as the Mappa Mundi is. The land where Bovis wants to build is a significant buffer zone for all forms of wildlife -plants and birds.
