My daughter has recently bought a house on Aylestone Hill and my husband and I are so impressed by the beauty and tranquility of Lugg Meadows we are considering moving nearby. A housing development which would ruin this charming area is definitely not where we plan to go!

The whole of the Lugg Meadows reference planning application reference; P140963/0 should be denied. I understand that this has been rejected by the Council, I support the Council in this rejection. To lose such an important rare meadow would be shameful.

The council have rejected this for good reason! Yes Herefordshire needs more housing but this is totally the wrong place.

This housing development will have a huge effect on the meadows with thing such as garden chemicals and litter, not to mention It'll ruin the beauty of the landscape, losing most of its amenity. as one of the few lammus meadows remaining in britain, this housing proposal should NOT go ahead

Why can't we have some straw bale houses, in appropriate locations? They last as well as other buildings, are very quick & economical to build, affordable & ecologically sound as well as good to live in! Seen them built on Grand Designs etc & would seem to be a good way to address the lack of affordable housing ~ I'd happily live in one!

This is just another outrageous planning application which is happening all over the country. It is time the Government and councils started listening to the people on these totally unfair unsustainable developments before we have no countryside left to save.

Sort roads/traffic out first. This is the wrong place to build. Once it's gone it's gone! The bypass was refused so why has this even been considered!
