Dear Neighbours,
I wish to inform that as residents of Allum Street for many
years, we are eager to make contact with Canterbury-Bankstown council with the
view of installing speed bumps along our street.
This is due to the high speeds which motorists are traveling
along our street which poses a great danger to the residents.
Among the many family homes located here, we have multiple
community facilities which results in the high-level presence of children and
families. These are: Yagoona Public school, Love & Cuddle Preschool, Bupa
Aged Care and Bankstown Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
This installation will not only benefit us but also surrounding neighbours. This will increase the safety and prevent further illicit activity in our neighbourhood.
It would be much appreciated if you are able to complete our
quick online petition which will be submitted to the council.
yes finally some one is as much concerned about fast speeding cars on Allum street as i have been. i have lived on this street over 30years and over time this street is getting worse in speeding drivers the tree in front of my house was brocken in half some years ago by a speeding car and i have witnessed many incidents over the years. sleeping at night always get woken up by speeding cars, thats when its used as a speedway, as its a long and wide street. i dont know how the council has overlooked this street by not installing speed bumps.
