I really never thought this would gain so much ground when I first started typing it up on my laptop. It honestly feels like the whole town is finally waking up to what we are losing and that gives me a lot of hope despite everything else going on.

So many memories in that building. Please reconsider this.
My family has been going here for generations. You cant just shut it down like it means nothing to us.
This church is the heart of the village. LEAVE IT OPEN.
Ridiculous decision. Where are the elderly supposed to go now? They dont have transport to get to the next town over.
The church serves the whole community. Dont let Maerdy lose such an important place.

Absolutely gutted. Its a huge part of our history and closing it is a massive mistake.
