Not allowed to have have a Ferret in California currently
If you went to Petco or Pet-smart and get the supplies there, so in that case it makes no sense really. In addition, mice and rats and maybe rabbits have rabbis but Guinea Pigs also have rabbis there allowed to have as pets. Look at it from another prospective, teachers also have these kinds of pets especially Guinea Pig, hamsters for upper graders like 4& 5 grade usually, and rats usually for lower grade in there classrooms and there as pets as well and they have rabbis too so ferrets should be allowed to in California.
We have raccoons in our cities definitely have rabbis and so do squeals but there not pets but for sure they have rabbis and there not illegal to have here.

its so backward that you can buy the food and toys at every pet store here but not the actual animal. just let us have them already
FREE THE FERRETS
Lived in other states with ferrets and they are honestly great pets. Never understood why CA is so uptight about this.
As long as there are regulations so people don't abuse them or keep them in inhumane environments

Ferrets should be legal. People have ferrets and making them legal protects the animal.
