To keep history from repeating itself, the public needs to know the history and reenactors help to preserve history. Even though they're German during WWII, they also help to keep people educated about the dark stuff that happened back then in an effort to not allow these actions to ever happen again.

Quit trying to "whitewash" history, and erasing the horrors that our people have committed. Just because it's swept under the rug, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Trying to ignore it or erase it, is the equivalent to lying. Let the world know what happened, so they don't repeat it!

I'm also a ww2 German Reenactor. 2nd SS, 4 kompanie Der Führer. They should let us go to events and tell the other side of the story. They try to sensor us but we will fight back. Not all German soldiers were Nazi's. 80 to 90 percent of them didn't classify themselves as a member of the NSDAP even though they had to join the party to be able to be in the Waffen SS. Thats my 2 cents.

Living History Must Be Saved. Not allowing German forces to help preserve that history is outrageous.
