Kids are there to learn so long as it isn’t offensive let the kids be kids. Teach.

Crazy part about this is some private schools allow you to dye your hair, dying your hair should be a normal thing, I teaches kids how to be themselves, it gives them creative freedom that yall are restricting, school is not just about being there for 6+ hours socializing is one of them and being your true authentic self and remember we are people and we have a voice in the matter that’s what’s so great about America!

Maybe they should concentrate on the fighting & things that cause the school to be locked down instead of hair color.

My son Lawton has been on honor since he has been in school. Never once his entire years of school has he been in trouble of any kind. Plays in the school band. He has dyed hair and im pretty sure he is one of the reasons they are coming on with this BS as his hair is now purple and pink!!!! I stand with him!!!

As someone who has worked with kids in many settings allowing them to have the opportunity to color their hair can help them in many ways. It gives them the freedom to make their own choices. Allows them to express themselves in a non-harmful way. It can also give them confidence in themselves when they might be struggling. I have dyed my hair many times and it brought gave me happiness that I didn’t know I needed. If coloring your hair is not physically harming someone else or themselves it should be allowed in any setting.

My ability to learn was not impeded by the color of hair nor has it affected my ability to be successful in life.

What do yall have against color?
Kids should be allowed to express themselves.
