While understanding the reasons of why uniforms are required, their hair is NOT your decision. They have the human right to express themselves freely. Penalizing children for self expression is wrong.

I went to school there in the past, they are stupid about things like this and allow for little to no form of expression, all of the Livingston parish schools are like this for literally no reason other than power plays.

There are other schools who don’t have to enforce this rule because they are allowing there students to have fun hair colors. So what’s so bad with having a fun hair color.

Students should be able to ste their hair any color with no problem! Since we can't show how emotions with clothes let us do it with our hair??!

I see nothing wrong with letting students color their hair.

Hair color isn’t distracting! It allows people to express themselves in ways we can’t with uniform.

Not “a natural hair color”… I meant to write “has unnatural hair color”.

Almost everybody that I know has a natural hair color. I work with many people with bright blue hair, and all it does is create joy. It doesn’t cause a distraction. It doesn’t stop people from being the professionals that they are.

This policy was outdated when I was in school over 10 years ago. It's time to Let It Go!
