The news is finally here and the ban is being lifted. I honestly never imagined we would see this day but it happened because so many of you kept pushing for change. This win belongs to every one of you who spoke up for the cats.

Cats shld be allowed in hdb homes fr as long owners can care fr them well.. just as dogs are allowed.. cats CAN be domesticated and live long fulfilling lives if neutered and cared fr well. Maybe make it mandatory for home cats to be neutered and kept indoors as part of the rules...
In Canada, there is a charity program to place senior cats with senior citizens living alone. The cat and human provide much needed companionship and attention to each other. I hope that with the passing of the petition, somewhere down the road, we can create a similar program.
When you offer your roof to a pet, that is wrong and with a cat, what could be wrong. Yet I see some very large dogs in HDB flats. The poor dogs barely have space to move around and be themselves. Yet we judge cat owners.
Cats are very ideal as indoor pets so long as owners are educated well that meshing or gates and windows are NECESSARY. There will definitely not be an issue keeping cats in HDB. And they are naturally toilet trained and quiet little furballs. I don't see why they can't be kept in HDB:(
Cats should be allowed in HDB. This will also help in reducing stray cats on the streets by allowing cats in HDB. All cars should be given the right to in all homes not the specific ones.
Stop discrimination now! Allow cats in hdb flats.

Dogs and cats are the same why ban one of them. They're not a nuisance. If you train them, keep them indoor then all should be well. Fine those irresponsible but DO NOT bring it upon responsible owners.
