Generally pet cats are kept strictly indoors. The reason for this law is for cats roaming around creating nuisance or noise holds no water!

It’s ridiculous to ban cats, most are quiet and mind their own business. Some dogs make a ruckus and i have more issues with dogs oppose to cats. How many occasions do you hear barks at midnight or even early morning 5am? but a cat? feeling mew isn’t going to wake the whole hdb estate up. Shedding, is it manageable if u want create stricter rules on both DOG AND CAT owners. Do not ban cat at hdb for absolutely nonsense reasons.

Cats won't annoy anybody. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just dumb, or needs to go to therapy to get their✨ trauma fixed ✨

Based on the reasons given by HDB, cats are even more qualified then dogs as household pets.

I don’t see them as a nuisance. If the owners are well and all the cats do not create trouble for anyone unless roaming outside of the house without watch.

I own my cat for 11 yrs in HDB already. Clean & well trained with cat litter. Will come back home to pee & poo even let out because i do spot check. No complaint or hassle from neighbours. Some even took pictures of her. I am saying cats is not the problem, is the owners' way of raising their pets. If dogs can reside in HDB, cats should deserve the same rights.

Please allow cats to be kept in hdbs. They are very convenient and they aren't very loud. I feel that ot is unfair because like dogs, cats are family too. To remove them from our homes hurt as much as removing a human family member. Please please please consider this.
