This should not even be a question. Raising chickens should be a right.

This is government overreach, denial of a citizens right to be able to feed themselves.

It's called governmental over-reach. It's nothing new but we MUST stand up for our rights and with those having their rights attacked.

I live in a HOA and yet I still support someone's right, outside of an HOA, to raise chickens

I was told by codes dept. Years ago I could not have chickens. So I done the right thing and got rid of them. Every house around me has chickens. Now I have recently found out he lied to me !! Wish I could sue the county for replacement if my 16 chickens and the eggs I have lost in all these years. Let us have our chickens!!

We moved here to get away from over reaching government. Catoosa county is for the most part rural. Let's keep it that way.

The right to chickens, food freedom, and use of our property is essential. This must also be fought for the general erosion of our liberties!

It is ridiculous that I am expected to pay propterty tax, and taxes on goods that I buy and have a government who over steps their reach by telling me they have a right to tell me how to use the property I am living in.

There is nothing wrong with people in the county having chickens. I don’t have any but most of my neighbors do and I might decide I want some one day

If a person wants chickens for their own use they should be able to.

I moved here 28 years to be back in the country. For a small town country life. It is what the south was funded on farms and gardens. Going after our chickens means us needing to fill for rights to keep builders to stop tring to run us and to form us to suite them. Telling us we have no rights to have or do anything. That we are not land of the free, but the land of control and telling us boys can go in a bathroom with girls. I guess yall just want total control over everyone. Do we need to ask to go to the bathroom. We did we get so crooked and underhanded that u want to change the way we have lived for hundreds of yrs. Sad so no I won't give up my chickens or my rights because u came here to destory our country side we so love in the name of money. If u don't like country life move leave go live in a city and so u now chickens are there to. This is the only place in the state of ga tring to take our rights as people for there own greed. Oh that is one of God's 10 deadly sins. It is because of yall and our great government I got chickens again. Because someone said up there I don't like them and there for we have to fight to have a right. Hey worry about the war coming to our lands. Worry about how your community is going to keep food on tables at these cost. Hey worry about the drugs killing the kids. Hey why not try and help our boarder citys get a wall to stop the trafficking and drugs coming over in spades. Or stop building all these high dollar places no reg person can afford. But I will not support you taking chickens from the community. As land of the free and being most of us teach our kids and grandchildren real life. Not a video games or a TV 24/7. Sad board and yall all need to be replaced.
