It's a basic right and freedom to have chickens, domesticated animals for food and happiness, on your own property WITHOUT overreaching government interference and regulation.

I don't have chickens, but my neighbor does, including roosters! No problem. I support any one being allowed to have backyard chickens as their personal, property right. We are not talking about commercial chicken houses for heaven sakes! My concern with the commissioners usurpation of power is - what is next? Are they going to ban ownership of certain breeds of dogs, or go full CCP and tell you how many children you can have? This may seem a stupid comment to some but I'm sure a year ago the idea of a "chicken war" was also unheard of! Another fear is , What are they REALLY planning to do and chickens are the distraction?

Keep the chickens. Too much government control. If you dont want chickens you can I've in a HOA community..let people live in freedom.

We should be allowed to grow our own food and if we pay taxes on our property we should have this right.

It is a very basic right and to deny this is the government overstepping it’s boundaries

I don't have a problem with it. Food & egg prices are ridiculous so let them raise their own in their own yards.

We as property owners should be able to do what we want on our property. I'm all for having chicken's, garden's and anything else...
