This is ridiculous. The government is always trying to control every aspect of our lives. People need to be able to pursue happiness without the government consent

I only want 4 hens only to provide eggs for personal use. My neighbors have said they how no. Problem with them they would be with clean living areasI live Avery park on the county line

I have had backyard chickens in a number of cities in GA. No one has complained because I take care of them. In the county, it is ridiculous to restrict them. HOAs can determine what they want in their areas and the rest of the county should have a choice.

This should be no issues given they are properly housed and taken care of.

In the world we are living in now, this is not just a want but a need for many families.

This is ridiculous! This is not communist China...Yet. They own their property and it should be permitted. Maybe with some guidelines in place would be understandable in a neighborhood. That's fine also as long as the people can decide for themselves.

It is completely ridiculous that we have to sign this petition. People have had chickens for generations and their eggs are a stable food source for many families. Food and gas prices are outrageous now so I’m sure many families NEED their chickens. Its not just a hobby. People have dogs that bark all night and disturb their neighbors and that is allowed but not chickens? Where is the logic in this?

With the price of groceries higher than they ever have been raising chickens would be a way to provide my family with eggs. It is also would be a good learning tool to teach my kids responsibility and animal husbandry.

I had to have them removed and told it was because I live in a residential neighborhood. I have a 10 foot fence

Backyard chickens are very different than chicken houses. They are also beneficial to control insects as well as providing food.

I live in a farming community, not sure why we would not be allowed to have chickens and a vegetable garden, let people live their lives

My entire neighborhood backs up to a farm. A few chickens don't really make a difference. People need to be able to provide for themselves and not rely on someone else.
