The momentum we have built makes it clear that the administration cannot ignore this blatant double standard much longer. This fight is about basic fairness and the school board needs to stop policing students for no reason.

As a teacher at hardyes school, I feel this petition is an abomination, however I love seeing children with earrings so I can remove them myself (in my private office) and I look forward to punishing (prepare your anuses) every one of you Good day
If it's deemed 'acceptable' for a girl to wear trousers in school, then it should be perfectly acceptable for a boy to wear an earring.
We say we are an equal society, yet guys aren't allowed to wear earrings or makeup at school. If girls are allowed, why aren't the boys? Also, girls wear skirts, but they also wear trousers if they want. Why can't guys wear skirts? If they have the confidence to do so, who are we to shame them into not wearing them? Everyone is their own self, and they can do what they want with their body, as human beings. School already strips people of their originality, and making teenagers nowadays worse than they could already feel is not cool in any ways, and that's what I think is happening at Hardyes. We could stop this.
Why are girls allowed to wear one set of stud earrings but not boys?! Rather sexist isn't it? And they say it's mostly girls that suffer from sexism!
Everyone should be allowed to wear earings!
There should be more equality in the school.
