We do not think it is correct to call Player Development that takes place on Sunday afternoons, a "Practice", as there is no team involved or formed, and there are both girls and boys involved, and only individual, self-paced learning is involved. No team offenses, defenses, ect... are part of the program.
Thus we are in favor of the basketball Player Development program being continued to be held, and made available to any Marion Middle School students that are interested.
Seriously let the kids practice. It is just individual skill building and they are actually doing something positive on a Sunday instead of sitting around doing nothing.

My kid has been going to these and it really helps his game. It is not even a team thing so I dont get the problem at all. Just let them play basketball.
