I need the studio space to be overnight, especially as an off campus student. it will hinder my ability to create if I do not have overnight access to a safe art making environment.

Overnight studio hours are incredibly important for time intensive classes and for students who work part/full time during the week; it to only the weeks around crit week would just only create more chaos when it comes to studio access. With already how high tuition is, students should be able to have the ability to use the campus buildings/resources to work on their projects as needed.

I've taken advantage of the overnight policy plenty of times in the past, and I've been really thankful for it. For a school that prides itself on its Fine Arts Program, let students do their work! Full time accessibility to these spaces is crucial, especially for those who need to commute and/or regularly use specialized equipment provided for their department.

As an animation student, I am going to need studios open 24hr in order to complete projects in a timely manner. I can't work on everything at home, and not every full project can be saved on a USB when needed.
